Programme
EVA London is not just a conference of presented papers – it also hosts demonstrations, panel sessions, exhibits, performances, an invited symposium, a research workshop mainly by students, and an associated “Research in Education” day for universities by invitation.
- Full conference programme: Four days of presentations on a wide spectrum of themes and topics, with distinguished keynote speakers.
- Digital Futures: Free evening events on Day 1 and 4, with demonstrations and exhibits, run by EVA London in partnership with the V&A museum.
- Symposium: Day 1 event sponsored by the School of Information, Pratt Institute, New York.
- Research workshop: Students from leading universities present their work in an informal workshop setting on Day 2.
- CAS50: Free evening event on Day 3 celebrating the 50th annversary of the Computer Arts Society.
- Demonstrations: Presentations that are interactive or highly visual – meet and talk to the artists and presenters.
- Exhibits: Digital art exhibits, in association with V&A Digital Futures.
EVA London includes a number of popular networking and socialising events, including evening receptions and the Day 3 evening for dinner in groups.
The provisional EVA 2018 programme is embedded below. This version of the programme may be subject to minor changes and revisions. Some paper presentations have a corresponding demo session, normally combined into one longer session of 30 minutes.
